News
July: Womad’s World of Children invited Lindsey back to perform the interactive show of her latest book- The Mermaid, the Otter and the Big Poo.
June: Lindsey made her first appearance in Glastonbury’s magical Kids Field and became so inspired by all the puppets she’s incorporated one of her own for her show.
May: Lindsey was the muse for award winning and International pastel artist, Michelle Lucking. Michelle’s latest series explores the contrasting power and calm serenity of the differing states of water, so she needed models who could hold their breath and Lindsey was honoured to oblige.
March: To kick start their campaigning collaboration for 2023, Lindsey mermaided the Severn Bore with the support of the Conham Bathing Group. A documentary is currently being filmed about their campaign work, so stay tuned for details.

Lindsey was part of the UK’s largest immersive storytelling experience. The People's Map by Story Trails, brings to life a psychogeographic representation of Bristol, combining audio storytelling and archive footage with cutting-edge 3D scanning technology to create a new national portrait in 2022.
Over 400 stories and nearly 7000 scans were captured to create 15 animated maps, bespoke to each location and telling stories in new and surprising ways. StoryTrails toured the UK as a pop-up event in summer 2022, visiting 15 different towns and cities.

The Mermaid, the Otter and the Big Poo
Our rivers are facing an existential crisis. Only 14% of England's rivers meet 'good ecological status. Raw sewage discharges from water companies and agricultural run off are harming river wildlife. Over the last decade Government funding for the Environment Agency has fallen by over 70%. Polluters can basically dump waste into our rivers secure in the knowledge that they will be neither monitored, inspected nor prosecuted.
River pollution affects the entire ecosystem. It can wipe out species of invertebrate, which affects fish, which then affects wildlife like otters.
If you’d like to learn more about river pollution and what you can do to help our rivers please check out The Mermaid, the Otter and the Big Poo film and citizen science campaign.
Virtual homeschooling
After receiving a number of requests I now run a virtual homeschooling service to help alleviate pressure off parents. Whether your children need entertaining, do eco activities or help with their reading, get in touch and let me help you.
“We looooved reading to a mermaid and learning how to make an (eco) disco ball.” Rex (5) and Leo (6).
